 These beauties are from lake Malawi. Although they look and act like normal mbuna (algae eating cichlids) they are not as aggressive as them and should be looked after in a mixed aquarium. Caruleus’s breed like other mbuna (mouth brooders) they hold the eggs until the babies are big enough to fend for themselves (19 to 22 days after eggs were picked up.)
