Thus keeping, raising and breeding them is surprisingly easier as it might sound. They are endangered due to wars and other destruction of their environment. They are mouth brooders like the Malawi’s and are as easy to raise as well. The females lack the bright colours of the males but make up for it by their devotion to their babies, by allowing them up to 2 months longer back into her mouth for protection.
